What a beautifully written piece, Tift. You’ve set the scene for the summer to come so well. Over here it’s past midnight, the fabled third of June already, another sleepy, dusty Delta day. So let the new chapter BEGIN!

Tift, in this latest piece you once again layout the day to day so beautifully. I really love how you speak of writing in Paris, an ode to Another Country. That album was many moons again and even Stitch of the World harkens back to pre-pandemic times. I recall seeing you play the Birchmere with new Stitch songs and I so look forward to a new album. I think the asylum and questions that have risen will be a rich fabric to make an album from. Looking forward with ears open!

As always, thank you for sharing your world and your art. Enjoy the summer, every season is new and then gone. Am patiently waiting for the next album, but thankful for what you are and what you are doing.

I love this piece like I’ve loved your story telling songs. Give yourself permission to finish the next album. Relax, we will wait and rejoice when you’re finished and we can hear those stories.

I'd say you have a few to call your treasure along with glazed-donut girl, and ... you can write. And apparently, iron.
