Jean is worried about tariffs on dumplings and pho; she decided to give up clothes and vegetables for lent. I heard a little too much news this weekend, and feeling cobbled together (cobble def: to assemble or make quickly and roughly, often using whatever materials are available, resulting in something that's functional but not necessarily well-made), I tried to collect the moments that have confronted me with how much I have inside me, how much I hope, dream, long to open and love. The best of humankind — the beauty in being vulnerable, human and willing to give — is inside all of us. This week I’m just singing you a love song about the finest feeling I know, the finest inside us, because love and goodness are always close at hand and endless inside us.
